The Air Harmonic eXciter is a Saturation Colour Module designed specifically for generating the harmonics in the HF band.
Air Harmonic eXciter enhances the sound by adding a cocktail of odd and even harmonics to the original signal.
Air Harmonic eXciter colour module uses a unique solution to generate the harmonics. Instead of simply clipping the signal the waveform is cut from the bottom.
The effect is very similar to the large format studio harmonic exciters used to restore the HF content after processing the mix with the studio equipment.
The Air Harmonic eXciter is perfect for mastering and tracking especially when used together with Module LF Harmonic Maximizer saturation module.
The LF Harmonic Maximizer and the Air Harmonic eXciter Saturation Modules were designed to work together!

Audio Samples are level matched. The subjective loudness difference is a result of the increase of the hamonics content introduced by the LF Harmonic MAXimizer and the Air Harmonic eXciter Colour Modules.
Designed for Parallel Processing
The Air Harmonic eXciter has a special feature wich makes it very useful when used with Parallel Blending processor.
The SOLO jumper can cut off the dry signal completely, leaving the only the WET signal. The MIX knob in the C572 will control the balance between the WET and DRY signal jus like in the mixing desk.
